MY STORY Thirteen years ago my husband and I moved from Atlanta, Georgia to his home in California. We bought a little one bathroom house with a grapefruit tree in the backyard. Our first baby came along nine months later.
During this transition into full-time motherhood, I needed a creative outlet. So I put up a very ugly, 2012-core WordPress site (no, really, it looked like this) and started writing things on the Internet!
Throughout my time online I’ve written about everything from debt-free living, to natural health, to homeschooling life.
Not only has blogging allowed me to stay connected with friends and family, but it has followed me into many seasons of creativity. It’s been the catalyst behind learning photography, publishing my first e-book, becoming a regular contributor to the Wild and Free community, and creating practical courses for new homeschool moms!
